Okay, just thought I clear up some odds and ends this week, just sort of catch you up on the family and such.
Chrissy and I are doing fine. Not too much grief from the jobs or my strange relatives at the moment. It's been pretty calm as of late.
Mostly we've been dealing with the typical things a family faces with three daughters, three teenage daughters. (And if anyone out there has three teenage daughters, you know how much fun that is!)
Oh, before I get into THAT, let me tell you that my show, the one featuring local Cleveland Blues Bands, got a new name. It's called "North Coast Blend" now. And for all my years of faithful service, the station got me a car.
Nice, huh? It's a 1949 Crosley.
Let's see... Our 16 year old, Laura has become the true computer geek of the family. It seems she spends at least four hours a night beating on that keyboard. Chrissy's a little concerned about all the time Laura spends online, but I think she'll be safe enough. She's a smart girl. (Besides, she has great taste and only goes to those websites of exceptional value.)
Emily is off at Kent State now, tentatively as an English major or an Education major or maybe Drama. I've told her that if she wants to go into drama, she'll need to get over being so camera shy.
(This is the best shot I've been able to get of her since June.)
She found a new beau at Kent as well. His name is Jake. He's a PoliSci major. Great, maybe he can join a rock band or something. Something with a more secure future.
He never seems to take those shades off. That's fine. I wish he'd lose the suit, though.
Hmmm, then there's Margie. What has she gotten into recently? Well, she won't REALLY be a teenager until next month, so it can't have been too bad. She's gotten to that weird stage between tomboy and young lady. Margie does dress up well though, doesn't she? Her big thing now is horses. Take a guess how common horses are in Cleveland Heights.
Okay, that leaves Levi. He's down in Southern California now, working on another novel. All he's told me about it is that it's set in the 1890's. The movie people are still in the development stages on the first book. He may end up doing some work on the screenplay.
Well, that pretty much brings you up-to-date as of the end of January, 1999.
BeeWee and Max are fine. I haven't heard from Isaiah in awhile. Angel and Tony are doing well.
It's good to have nothing particularly exciting going on right now.
