I thought that perhaps now would be a good time to catch up on the present for just a bit. Things have been going on as I've been giving you the family history. (Well, I honestly didn't think I'd being taking quite this long on my own life story.)
One of the first things that has happened since I started this was the reappearance of my mother, Yvette Hewlett. You should have noticed her Cease and Desist order that was added to Part One of my story. Somehow she caught wind of this website and decided to make her presence known. If you read the order, you know that I've been prohibited from using pictures of myself as a minor. I honestly don't know what that's about. I've not spoken to Yvette but have had several long conversations with her attorney, a Mr. John H. Burney of Arlington, Texas.
Nearly as bizarre, I received word from California that Max may have resurfaced as well. This is unconfirmed at this point. A man fitting Max's description was found near L.A. claiming to be some sort of Greek God. I received a call from Honey, who is currently living outside Vancouver, that she'd being going down to L.A. soon to investigate this.
Also under the heading of the strange and bizarre, is the appearance of one Isaiah Peterson, who first showed up in the Guestbook of this Web site. (The picture is of Isaiah and his new wife, Barbara) Isaiah claims to be Nigel Starks, my illegitimate son. The story is that Helena Starks got pregnant from our one night of passion. When she went to her parents about this, her father immediately took her to relatives living in Capetown, South Africa. She had a baby boy she named Nigel who was put up for adoption within two weeks. Nigel was adopted by Joshua and Briana Peterson, who changed his name to Isaiah, because he was their "gift". Apparently, Isaiah has been looking for his birth parents since he turned 18.
I have talked to Isaiah, who seems to be a nice enough kid. He's been in contact with Helena for the last year or so. She claims that I'm his father. But then again, her account of our "relationship" is significantly different than my description.
This has caused a slight ripple in my life. Chrissy believes me and my telling of the Helena story. Angel, with whom I've recently reestablished a friendship with, seems a little skeptical. She has tried contacting Helena a few times to hear her side of the story. My oldest son, Levi, just thinks it's funny while Emily (soon to be 18) keeps telling me what a hunk Isaiah is.
We'll see what comes of all of this.
